Swiss
mountaineer Andre Roche held the world record for high-altitude
extreme skiing when he skiid down the 7000 meter Conways Saddle
(Golden Throne) at the head of the Baltoro Glacier. In 2003 a
snowboarder attempted to snowboard down K2. He managed to reach
Savoia Pass from where he descended on his snowboard.
Ski mountaineering possibilities in Pakistan have not been
explored. Our staff is always on the lookout for suitable areas.
